Roles & Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for designing intuitive and visually appealing websites and customer apps, a strong understanding of user experience, and proficiency in front-end development as well as maintaining existing WordPress site and developing new pages as needed. The Web Designer will work closely with the Branding, Marketing and IT team.

Design and Layout:

Create mockups, and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look.

Design web pages, landing pages, and user interfaces using design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or Figma.

Ensure the design is responsive and optimized for various devices and screen sizes.

User Experience:

Conduct user research and analyze feedback to improve the user experience.

Create and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across all web pages.

Collaborate with respective stakeholders to ensure the best user experience.

Front-End Development:

Must have knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript code and WordPress.

Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

Ensure websites are optimized for performance and search engines (SEO).

Maintenance and Updates:

Monitor and maintain websites to ensure they remain functional and up to date.

Implement updates, enhancements, and new features as needed.

Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or bugs that arise.

Skills & Requirements

A bachelor’s degree is required.

Minimum 3 years of working experience in web/app design or similar roles.

Strong portfolio showcasing web design projects.

Proficiency in graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma).

Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.

Experience in developing and maintaining WordPress site.

Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
